View detailsDiversity and inclusion (D&I) are interconnected, but different concepts. Diversity refers to differences such as gender, race, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, differing abilities, and the many more differences in people. Inclusion refers to creating a work environment where such differences and similarities are respected and welcomed, and people are comfortable to be their whole selves. A diverse and inclusive workplace makes everyone feel equally involved and supported. Diversity should be sought after, celebrated, and nurtured in a workplace through acts of inclusion.
